Please read the following before you submit your application for the position.
1. Your application should include a current curriculum vitae, covering letter and a completed Application Form. Applications should be emailed to application@gregtims.co.nz before the advertised closing date. Please include referees who can be contacted by telephone during the day or evening. All applications are acknowledged promptly by email upon receipt. If you are sending a hard copy of your CV, please do not send any original documents.
2. After the closing date, a number of applicants are selected for an initial interview based on competencies and attributes identified in the advertisement and position description (where this is available).
3. Shortlisting usually occurs within 10 days of the closing date for applications. If you are not selected for an interview, you will be notified that you have been unsuccessful by email. This usually occurs within two weeks of the closing date, but we will advise you if there are any unforeseen delays.
4. If you are invited to attend an interview, we will contact you and advise you of the details, which will be confirmed by email.

NETWORK MANAGER INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES Team Leadership – Commercial Focus – Infrastructure Projects The Matamata-Piako District Council is seeking an experienced senior manager to lead and manage their internal professional services business unit (Kaimai Consultants), based at their main office in Te Aroha. It operates as a stand alone profit centre and is expected to have a strong commercial focus in the way it provides its services for roading, utilities and community facilities. Kaimai Consultants is responsible for undertaking professional engineering design, contract management and supervision duties for a range of local authority services and infrastructure. This role would involve leading and managing a skilled team of 15. Key responsibilities will include: · Leadership and management of the unit’s strategic direction as well as developing the unit to meet both service targets and business plan objectives · The leadership and development of staff · Financial management and performance, including preparation of the unit’s annual business plan · Enhancement of internal and external customer business relations · The evaluation of opportunities, contract and tender preparation, and the overall supervision of a range of local authority related projects and services You will need to have proven senior management experience within a commercial professional engineering or contracting environment, and have demonstrated effective team leadership and performance. It is important that you have a strong customer focus and are an effective decision maker. In addition you will have an awareness of local government requirements, and high quality contract management and negotiation skills. You will also need to have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and a positive attitude. GROUP MANAGER – CLINICAL SERVICES Strategic Leadership - Senior Clinical Manager - Experienced Registered Nurse Braemar is Waikato’s leading private surgical hospital, and provides healthcare from two modern hospitals based in Hamilton. A new purpose-built hospital was opened in April 2009 and it is one of the most modern and well equipped private hospitals in the country. This position reports to the CEO with a strategic focus on ensuring the provision of the highest quality clinical care over both hospitals.
