Recruitment Process
Please read the following before you submit your application for the position.
1. Your application should include a current curriculum vitae, covering letter and a completed Application Form. Applications should be emailed to application@gregtims.co.nz before the advertised closing date. Please include referees who can be contacted by telephone during the day or evening. All applications are acknowledged promptly by email upon receipt. If you are sending a hard copy of your CV, please do not send any original documents.
2. After the closing date, a number of applicants are selected for an initial interview based on competencies and attributes identified in the advertisement and position description (where this is available).
3. Shortlisting usually occurs within 10 days of the closing date for applications. If you are not selected for an interview, you will be notified that you have been unsuccessful by email. This usually occurs within two weeks of the closing date, but we will advise you if there are any unforeseen delays.
4. If you are invited to attend an interview, we will contact you and advise you of the details, which will be confirmed by email.

QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER • Team Management • Change Driver • This position reports to the CEO, and will be responsible for leading a team with a focus on driving industry leading quality manufacturing practices. It will require keeping up to date with relevant best practice, developing strategies, developing and implementing and sustainable quality management across the business and forming strong relationships with managers and production staff. It is desirable that you have had experience in ISO and GMP compliance, the analysis of manufacturing records relative to customer and production standards and a strong technical orientation. Strong communication and relationship management skills are important, as is the ability to persuade others and drive change. NATIONAL MARKETING MANAGER • Strategic Marketing Strategy Development & Delivery • • New “Greenfields” Role • This is a rare opportunity to join a significant sized Waikato based business in the import/distribution sector with branches throughout New Zealand. Reporting to the Chief Executive, the newly created role of National Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing and promotional strategies for the business across the country. It will require a strategic and commercially grounded approach, and will also need to be “hands on” for some of the day to day work. Important responsibilities will include the development and coordination of marketing and promotional initiatives and activities to enhance branch sales and the overall positioning of the business in the market place, as well as the effective management of a number of well-known international brands. In addition, providing advice to the senior management team and leading a small marketing team will be required. Key attributes sought, include previous successful experience in senior position in a commercial environment, with some staff management responsibilities. You will need to have strong marketing strategy and project management skills, be pragmatic, and have well developed written and oral communication skills and proven creative abilities. Involvement in brand management activities, including the development of marketing material both web based, electronic and collateral, as well as planning and delivering promotional activities, will be important aspects of the role. It is essential that you can work well with a range of people to ensure activities and materials meet the business’ needs. A relevant tertiary qualification is highly desirable.
